Movie rentals in iTunes might be real

The possibility of iTunes allowing its users to rent movies from within the store has been rumored. However, Steve Jobs and thus Apple have yet to confirm this feature. Maybe at the Macworld. Maybe at the next WWDC. But it can’t be too far off, if they indeed introduce a groundbreaking service like this.

Inside a Flickr photostream of David Watanabe, there’s a screenshot that hints pretty much at the possibility of iTunes renting out movies soon.

The screenshot reveals that inside the list of what a problem can be reported of, there is “RentalMovie” as a property for the issue.
