So today I want to give you a quick comparison between the graphic modes in Crytek’s upcoming game “Crysis”. The screenshots you are about to see have been provided by Crytek, and are therefore the real deal.

crysis-low.jpg
Setting: LOW – DirectX 9

crysis-medium.jpg
Setting: MEDIUM – DirectX 9

crysis-high.jpg
Setting: HIGH – DirectX 9

crysis-veryhigh.jpg
Setting: VERY HIGH – DirectX 10

Here’s an important note: In the Beta versions of the game, there’s one more option available, “Extreme”, but it’s greyed out. This is because no commercially available hardware can produce a satisfactory framerate with this setting at this time.

Bottom line: The worst setting looks like FarCry in highest setting.
