O hai, wez in ur house, bein all cute
Sep 30th
So… the task is completed at last. My friends got the small bundles of love yesterday afternoon. They are incredibly awesometastic and seem to like the house. They like us in general, which is good. They are running around and play with us or themselves, what ever they wanna do.
We decided on names. It are brother and sister, and we went with the idea of Japanese names. So our final choices are Motoko for the guy and Kirika for the girl. Named after Major Motoko Kusanagi of “Ghost In The Shell” (and I think Motoko sounds cool for a boy too), and Kirika Yuumura of “Noir!”. Incidentally, Kirika’s personality seems to match the real Kirika’s – very quiet and polite. Also: “She seems to like cats and ice cream”.
So I managed to take two pics… =)
Catch ‘em if you can
Sep 28th
You know sometimes in life, with many things, there’s a catch. Nothing ever works out entirely as you’d hope for. Like just now. As you might have read in my previous post we have the idea of getting cats. So we go there, from the south edge to the north edge of the city. Apparently it’s some old man who gives ‘em away. But like I said, there’s a catch. This time, in every sense of the word.
You know I’d assume that if I go somewhere to pick up cats, I’d not have to do any physical stuff. Like, catching them. He told us that if we want them, we have to catch them. Ourselves. Catch ‘em if you can.
Actually I was kinda surprised. We were kinda sad about this attitude, we believed we had to go there and pick two. But no – with him, you have to catch ‘em. Good luck.
Maybe next time we get cats if we go to someone who sells or gives them away.
It’s cat naming time!
Sep 25th
So I just learned from my friend and housemate that we’re gonna get two cats into the house. Dem gonna runz in teh house, making hoomanz lol!
If you have cats already, and reading this, please give me and my friend some input for names in the comment field. I’d really appreciate it…
Personally I’m intrigued by unusual names, or names that are a tribute to someone or something. So for me, these would be name finalists:
- Madlax (after Madlax of the anime show)
- Spot (after Data’s cat on the Enterprise)
- O’Neill (after Colonel Jack O’Neill, the leader of the SG-1 team in Stargate)
- Te’Alc (after Te’Alc, the now friendly alien who joined the SG-1 team)
- Kirika (after Kirika Yumuura of “Noir!”)
- Lady Subaru (after Lady Subaru of “.hack//SIGN”)
- Faye (after Faye Valentine of “Cowboy Bebop”)
- Spike (after Spike Spiegel of “Cowboy Bebop”)
- Homer (Oh, donuts!)
- Margaret (after Margaret Burton of “Madlax”)
- Eike (after Eike Kusch of my favorite best game “Shadow Of Memories”)
- Mireille (after Mireille Bouquet of “Noir!”)
- Spock (Fascinating!)
- Scotty (I’ll do it in 2 hours captain!!)
Got any more suggestions?
The EVE Jovian Challenge, Part 1
Sep 15th
Yes, I am a very active player of EVE Online and I don’t think I gonna play something else. This is my game. Basically, It is EXACTLY my game. I always felt a pull toward the stars you see… But at this stage it is unlikely I’ll ever become a real astronaut. We come from the stars, we go to the stars. It’s that simple. And for me, the best and closest thing to go there, is EVE Online.
Now you see in EVE, there are four different playable races. Gallente, Caldari, Amarr, and Minmatar. My character belongs to the Gallente Federation (the democratic guys). There however is a fifth race, the Jove. Apparently their technology is extremely powerful and far superior to anything else of all other races. Thing is, you cannot get to them, they are very private people.
In EVE’s map, there are three regions which are completely inaccessible to normal players – yet they show up on the map. These regions are: A821-A, J7HZ-F and UUA-F4. The first two are Jove space – the last one is just space where the makers test stuff (also Alliance Tournaments are held in UUA-F4 if you didn’t know).
I have my doubts that these regions are completely inaccessible. And thus the Jovian Challenge was born. What is the challenge? Simple! Enter Jovian space.
Therefore, these are the regions of interest in this experiment:
They are located at The Vale Of The Silent outer borders. As you can see, the systems in there are in fact inter-linked with each other, which means that there are stargates in there. And if you have stargates, there is something else – say, stations. Has to be… so to see if I was right, I did a little check-up on a helper site called EVE-Agents.com… with interesting results.
Interestingly, the ones for Internal Security (you know, blow shit up), are in the Jove regions.
Now, CCP, the makers of EVE, have repeatedly stated that Jove space is completely inaccessible to all players. At all times. This space has been there for years, however. Question is: if this space is really inaccessible, then why put agents there for which you can run missions? Which pay you? And even have different divisions? Odd innit?
This kinda fueled my curiousity even more. So I started digging around in the map of the game. In some regions, there are so-called landmarks. You know, unique things like maybe the Eiffel Tower in Paris. So I checked around… and in fact, I found something very interesting when checking the outer areas of The Vale Of The Silent. Quote Flava Flav: “Check This Out!”
Fascinating.
So I set a course to G5ED-Y… 44 Jumps. That’s a long way down.
Honestly I was scared… there were like 15 jumps into 0.0 space – areas where you can basically be killed and the people can get away with it. I am telling you I was a bit nervous although I could afford to lose the ship I was flying in. But I was so lucky – in most areas there was no one but me, so I could in fact make my way down there.
Once there, I found myself a nice little spot to start digging deeper. Meaning doing some scanning. Which is what I did. Need proof?
5 probes in action.
Now the thing is, there is definitely something down there. I had a lock on something… But before I had time to finish my scanning and get the thing to 100%, a HUGE gang of like 20 people warped in – probably because of me. Someone saw me jumping into the area before, so I’m guessing he told his friends. In the end, I was in hostile area.
Bottom line is, there is something. I know there is, I was there. It could be anything, it could be nothing. I’ll have to get back and check it out once more.
Maybe next time I’m more lucky.
To be continued…

New place, new home
Sep 11th
So… in case you were wondering why I have gotten so quiet recently… You see my situation is really bad right now. No job, the place I was living in was overpriced by far. When I was working for Google, I didn’t really care cause I could afford it. But now? Not anymore so. My severance money has reached a level where I have to take some drastic steps.
One of those steps is moving houses. So I was talking to my friend about the situation. He so happened to have a room available in his house, and I took it. It is cheaper by far, A MUCH NICER PLACE (with no creepy people around), and already looks like the place I actually want to stay in for a while. A while, meaning, like for years to come.
Right now I am moving my stuff, so I’ll be busy with that in the next few days. Once I moved and have my income situation under control, my blog will be back to business!
Stay iTuned.
EVE Online: The Butterfly Effect

What if the Anime “Madlax” was made into a real movie?
Sep 1st
Kind of an interesting question… at least to me. This question just popped up into my head, and I kept thinking about it. I then came up with what I think the cast should be for it. I hope you’ll agree with me, or maybe you’ll find this assemble of actors and actresses interesting.
Since Madlax is a “Girls-With-Guns” Anime by Bee-Train, there are many factors to consider as to who can play which part. And ironically, I kinda had trouble casting the right person for the Madlax part, but I think I did good enough. So who should star in this Anime adaptation?
Madlax. No one was ever better than her in battle, her assignments are 98% successful. I think Kristen Bell would fit the role of Madlax pretty perfectly. Not only does she look closest to The Kind Killer, I think she also would do a very great job of portraying her on the big screen. She will smile at you. She will charm you. She will seduce you. And she will most certainly harm you. Ah yes, and she likes Pasta.
Who’s next?
Margaret Burton is a mysterious, but very kind person. She is mind-absent at times, and speaks in riddles. I think Emma Watson is the best fit for this role. Her hair would have to be a bit shorter… but oh well. In my opinion she would do a great job of portraying this girl who has no parents anymore. Margaret is clumsy at times, and seems to have a high interest in red shoes, and, well, shows up late for school. This doesn’t make her any less intelligent. Emma would also do a good job of trying to let no one see the picture book Margaret possesses.
Moving on!
Now working for Bookwald Industries and forced to move back to Nafrece is Vanessa Rene. To my mind, Courtney Cox would be the most perfect fit for her. She is Margaret’s former tutor and has looked after her when her mother died. She is also the one who decided that it is best to have a maid for Margaret. Vanessa is a woman who is standing confident in life and is believed to be around 35. I think Courtney Cox would deliver a great performance if she were to play her role some day.
Right… next!
Ultimately employed by Margaret is Elenore, her maid. She has sworn to protect and serve her, and to be with her at all times. Carla Gugino would be the perfect match for her role, as I think she already is very kind at her heart. Protecting Margaret is a full-time job you see… but Margaret finds Elenore’s caring for her too annoying at times – as you can imagine =D Elenore is a very intelligent young lady with some areas of expertise you would not think she might have in the beginning. Carla would, I think, portray her so very well on the big screen.
We need bad guys.
I don’t think I need to introduce Sir Sean Connery. In Madlax, our bad guy is Friday-Monday. Weird name… I know. This man firmly believes that he is only helping everyone by unleashing their true nature. I can think of no better fit as Sean Connery… we all would love to see him play the bad guy, no? I think so. The former James Bond actor would be the most perfect fit for this dark and mysterious bad guy.
Bad guys need help.
The intentions of this man are not entirely clear at first. Is he following his own agenda? Or helping Margaret? Either way, Keanu Reeves would be the most perfect fit for this character. Keanu’s voice needs a bit of training, but right now he is almost there and could play this man without any problems. Carrossea is apparently involved in the civil war that is happening in Gazth-Sonika. How deep? Who knows. He is the most excellent choice for this character. Whoa!
One left.
She’s a super sharp shooter and pretty good at what she does. Believed to be the former lover of Carrossea Doon is Limelda Jorg. Now, I cannot think of a better fit for this role as Cameron Diaz. She would, I think, deliver the most realistic real-world version of this character. Who she fights for, or why, we don’t know. We only know that when Madlax’ and her paths cross, Limelda puts Madlax on her to-shoot list. Wanna see Cameron Diaz trying to shoot Kristen Bell and get into a fight? I think so too.
And that’s it… I just wanted to post my thoughts on that.
