UFO Phenomena: Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Over the course of history, many have tried and failed to claim the ultimate prize – the hard, cold, irrefutable evidence, for extra-terrestrial life. In this day and age, surprisingly, this turns out to be harder than imagined. Although we now have smartphones, cameras, and things like YouTube, it’s still difficult to determine whether or not a footage is really showing something other-worldly. I am most definitely not denying that it is the case – it’s just very difficult to come by that one piece of video needed.
So people started looking in other places. For more physical evidence. Believers of ancient alien visitations claim that certain things in writings don’t add up. They say that these people really did describe what they saw before them. And to those believers, the only plausible explanation is that, what is described, is from out of this world.
Oak Island and the “Money Pit”
Some believe that the ultimate prize can be found on a very small island that goes by this name. On it, or rather, underneath it, is something which is now referred to as the Money Pit. Discovered by accident in 1795, it presents one of the greatest enigmas of all time. In precision, it is only second to the Pyramids. In complexity, it contends with the Pyramids. In ingenuity, it is almost as good as the Pyramids.
To this day we do not know why it was built, and who actually built it. The pit is using materials that can not be found on the island or anywhere near it, which adds to the mystery as to how these materials came to this small part of the world in the first place. When first excavations were being conducted, a very interesting pattern seemed to have emerged in its construction. It became very clear that, whatever is at the end of the line, must be protected by all costs.
Every 10 feet (roughly about 3m), barriers – more precisely oak platforms – were found. Sometimes they were enforced with coconut fibre and putty – which is highly unusual as these materials do not exist on the island. Or anywhere near it. This pattern is similar to what was found in one of the Pyramid’s chambers – which seemed to have a blockage in regular intervals along the way. Since the shaft was too narrow, the second barrier could not be penetrated.
However in the case of the Money Pit, the oak platforms could be broken. Only to discover a mechanism – a booby-trap – to keep invaders at bay. Here’s a layout of what we know about the pit today:
As you can see, there is a clever safety mechanism in place – the flood shaft. As soon as they reached this depth, water from the ocean rushed in. Another thing to note is that in 1804, a tablet was discovered in the pit with a strange inscription. There have been attempts to translate what it means. While there are translations that make sense, we cannot be certain about its true meaning as the symbols are from no known alphabet anywhere in the world.
There have been some theories as to why it was built, and what could possibly be hidden in the, in the moment, inaccessible cache. If there is anything hidden, that is. Some say it’s just an elaborate hoax to divert from something else. Some say it is built so complex to truly protect something very valuable. But what could it be? And if so, who built it? And when? Right now, we are uncertain as to how long that pit has existed there. We are much less certain about its reason for existence.
So what could possibly be hidden there, if anything? Let’s look at what people think.
The Manna Machine
We all know the story of the 40-year long wandering through the desert. It’s in the Bible, so it’s almost impossible not to know it. In the story, the people are condemned to wander the desert aimlessly for 40 years. While it is doable, it raises the question how exactly these people survived for 40 years, day in, day out?
From the ancient texts and original writings, we know that they were carrying something with them, all the time. That something appeared to be some kind of casing – and it is described as something that kept them alive and provided food. Were they just trying to write a novel? Or did these people really describe some kind of apparatus. Well. Turns out that, from the texts, a real blueprint for a machine can be created – and possibly also being built. Problem is there are some parts that we cannot replicate.
This apparatus has been dubbed the Manna Machine – a translation of that could be quite literally the food machine. Manna is an old word for food. It is widely believed that this apparatus dispensed healthy and fresh kind of food, and could have done so indefinitely.
The Manna Machine is a theory by George Sassoon and Rodney Dale that a machine device was used by the Israelites, when they went on their 40 year journey in the Sinai Desert.
The device was said to create manna, a type of chloric algae. It explains how the Israelites survived their 40 year wandering in the Sinai Desert.

The Ark Of The Covenant
The world’s most sought after relic. It represents the ultimate treasure, the ultimate prize. Also known as The Holy Grail. It’s whereabouts… a mystery. Who had it last… a mystery. Little is known about how it actually looked, or its contents. However it is believed to contain the ultimate treasure and the ultimate proof of extra-terrestrial visitations to Earth. Some say it could even be two treasures for the price of one: The Ark is, for some, believed to also house the Manna Machine.
The Ark Of The Covenant
What it contains is uncertain. What is certain however, that the power it is supposed to hold can not be replicated by any of our modern technology. For believers, when asked if this is proof of alien visitation, the answer is a resounding “yes”. It is argued that upon inspection of the item, we would find characteristics in its composition that we cannot match. Others say that the Ark really is just a plain box – but it’s the contents that will finally put an end to the eternal discussion, as the proof lies right before us.
Coming back to the Money Pit, it would seem logical to construct such a highly elaborate and booby-trapped vault for an item of this significance. The real question is, that if the Ark is really at the end of the pit, is it a Pandora’s Box? One thing is for certain though – if the Ark itself is a device of some kind, or if it contains the Manna Machine which many believe to be of alien origin… Story’s over.
At least the hunt for evidence would be over. It would however also shine a new light on historic events – so much so that we will be forced to reconsider everything we thought we know.
Others are afraid we will find out more about our origins than we ever wanted to know. If the Ark is ever found, I guess the only way to find out what happens, is to let things happen. An item of that significance can truly fundamentally change the world, forever, from the moment it is found.
